We designed the Forth Housing Tenants’ Handbook using large type and an attractive open design style packaged together in a custom made A5 Folder. All font sizes adhere to the Associations accessibility guidelines and 2 ring binders allows individual pages and sections to be cost effectively updated. The folder is manufactured from polypropylene which can be directly printed onto in full colour.
Since its original production the folder has worked well and as policies and legislation changes, updates have been issued to the Forth Housing Tenants.
We have worked with Ochil View Housing Association right from its inception over 25 years ago. The Association’s corporate goal is; “To provide quality, affordable and sustainable housing and associated services for people in housing need whilst protecting the long term viability of the Association”.
Our goal is to ensure that though well designed Tenants’ Handbooks, Newsletters etc. the tenants are well informed and engaged with the association and it’s work.
Our most recent project had been the design and printing of their Annual Report which communicates all the key activities of the year but also celebrates 25 years of providing quality social housing.
CTSi was formed several years ago and approached Art is an Option to create a professional brand including logo, stationery, leaflets and pull-up exhibition panels.
The organisation consists of a dedicated team of professionals who have a huge amount of knowledge and understanding of the Third Sector both locally and nationally. Their mission is to work with new and established third sector groups and organisations to provide support with start-up, constitutions, management committees and more.
We developed the CTSi logo around a concept of three elements bound together into a single entity. The logo reflects a professional business approach. The unified shape also reflects their inclusive and supportive assistance as they help others set up or develop their own social enterprise businesses. The brand is carried into their stationery and all their other promotional material.
Clackmannanshire Tourism which was set up to actively promote this stunning area. The organisation has much to shout about as it has some of the best terrain in Scotland for outdoor activities. The Ochil Hills provide a great location for hill walking and the growing sports of mountain biking and hill running. There are a myriad of cycle paths and routes. Families can enjoy cycling around Gartmorn Dam, or along the Devon Way. Firpark Ski Centre, Tillicoultry, offers a range of snow sport activities throughout the year on its 120 metre dry ski slope.
The organisation were attending a trade show known as Visit Scotland which is attended annually by all the main national and international tour companies. In addition to setting up the exhibition we felt it was important to give delegates a really engaging brochure.

We were asked by Diageo to produce a series of brand technical manuals. The objective of the diageo manuals was two-fold.
Firstly the manuals were intended to hold the sensitive product information on each brands specific ingredients etc. For this element of the job we supplied A4 branded shells which we supplied as pre-printed sheets. This allowed us to supply quality branded paper while still enabling the sensitive information to be laser printed securely within the Diageo brand technical centre.
The second function was to create quality folders, tab-dividers and colour swatches showing specified brand colours. Each of the manuals had to capture the quality of these iconic brands and therefore needed to be produced to exact pantone colours.
Diageo manuals were produced for each of the following: Gilbey’s Gin, Gordon’s Gin, Gordon’s Sloe Gin, Malibu, Pimm’s, Archers, Smirnoff, Tanqueray and Johnnie Walker.

Browns Food Group wanted a folder that would present them as an extremely professional operation. Our brief was essentially; “When you are sitting in front of a key buyer from a leading supermarket chain you only get one chance to create a great first impression….” To achieve high impact Art is an Option recreated a rich portfolio style cover with foil blocking featuring the Browns Food Group logo which we had designed several years before. The sumptuous cover was debossed to create a tactile feel which reinforces the sense of understated quality.
The folder is held together on the spine with 4 stainless steel fixings. The internally treaded fixings not only contribute to the feeling of quality but also allow the insert sheets to be updated easily. The insert sheets themselves use stunning graphics to present the company overview. To help … Read More »

They are one of the fastest growing road management companies in the industry. Head office is based in Stirling and, with several regional depots, the main geographical operating areas are Scotland and North England.
